A day after a surprisingly crippling snow storm, VRE was forced to run on its "S" schedule, meaning only half of its trains would run. Many areas of the NS Washington and CSX RF&P lines had downed trees over the tracks, such as the one seen in the bottom right corner, which I watched come crashing down to the ground the previous night. |
